The Lord Weird Slough Feg just announced
It should be of no surprise that we are fans of metal from all eras. We have had bands from the 1980s like Blood Feast as well as more modern bands like Night Demon play the Metal Swap Meet. We are pleased to announce that a staple in the metal community, Slough Feg, will be playing Metal Swap Meet in 2022! For those unfamiliar, they are from San Francisco and play their epic blend of traditional heavy metal with elements of doom metal mixed in. Slough Feg have a storied history that spans 10 full length albums and over 30 years. My favorite albums are Traveler and Hardworlder, as well as their latest album New Organon. This will be their first time performing in San Diego in over 10 years.
EvilDead set to headline
EvilDead go back in the Los Angeles thrash metal scene to the late 1980s with their debut album Annihilation of Civilization. At this point, EvilDead are a super group made of members of Agent Steel, Body Count, Abattoir and Terror. Their latest release United States of Anarchy is an incredible return to form and is a must have for any fans of thrash metal. We are excited to see their brand of fast paced thrash metal here in San Diego. EvilDead are a can’t miss performance. As far as we can tell, this is their first time playing in San Diego, ever!

I was vaguely unfamiliar with EvilDead, until I saw them open for Nuclear Assault a few years ago. They fucking killed it then, and their newest album is a beast start to finish!
The Lord Weird Slough Feg has been near and dear to my heart for a very very long time, going all the way back to when they were a fresh weirdo band with Erol Otis (of old school Dungeons & Dragons fame) doing the cover art for them.
Needless to say October 25 can’t come soon enough for me here!
